I live in Southwold and needed to find some special flowers to dig me out of a situation caused by an ill considered observation about my wife's weight. I googled florists in the area and found that many of them had either closed or were substandard. I eventually made it over to Leiston, and Karen Lear's shop. Karen didnt have loads of flowers, but what she did have were lovely, and very tasteful. Karen made me a beautiful flower arrangement, and charged far too little for it! I cannot recommend her business too highly, also she is, herself, a very funny and most extraordinary individual. She also sells her original artwork and runs a costumier business too.
I'm a photographer and have just done a wedding for which Karen did the flowers. They were really beautiful - very special indeed.
Fabulous dramatic arrangement. Sadly the roses started dying on the 3rd day, followed by most of the rest of the flowers within 6 days. The reason.......some leaves had been left on below water level so of course they rotted.
Fantastic personal service and a shop crammed full of lovely flowers, artworks and vintage clothes.
