Very helpful staff. We had battery problems with motorhome and they towed us into place and helped with jump start. Lovely campsite and beach.
Only been here a couple of hours but it feels home already. Clean & tidy, friendly staff, 5 star toilet block, nice club / bar with stunning sea view, and the sun is shining. Perfect. I love being a pensioner.
I deliberated over my 3 star rating for a while because I had to consider all the other reviews, which are very positive and I don't disagree with many of the comments, however it is important that you read the site owners reply to the comment further down regarding 'camping' which I really feel reflects the arrogance myself and others have witnessed on arrival, at the bar and the general money making changes that have turned what once was a lovely, family camp site into a trashy, ugly holiday park. It has to be said that the warden and the bar man showed far more consideration and friendliness but the owner and his wife appear to have lost their heart in the holiday business. Please smile, please stop blocking the lovely sea views with massive lodges and please get rid of the noisy hand dryers. Great to see more pegs to hand clothes that previously and great to see no more coded toilet doors. Brilliant pizza, great beer, lovely apartments and nice, clean, working facilities. For me though, this place is losing its soul to business.
Very nice site. Facilities clean and modern. Close to beach with nice cafe/bar overlooking the sea. Only downside is that the site does not drain water well so after rain showers there is a lot of puddling.
We have brought the Grandchildren here for 6 years now and come back later in the year by ourselves. We travel from Blackpool and love it. A great site. Toilet blocks etc nice and clean. A lovely bar. Good place to visit the area's attractions from. Every year we ask the children where they want to go, and this is number 1 destination for them and us too
