Had a lovely quiche and chips after an hour rowing on the mere. Portion was really generous and lovely to be able to sit outside with our dog and watch the activity on the mere

The worse cappuccino I've ever had. Location by the Meare lovely but not the coffee. Hardly anyone here, yet coffee house over the road had a much nicer atmosphere and very busy, wish we had gone there.
Worst cappuccino ever I'm afraid :-( We ordered two mug size - the shot was shared between the two mugs and the result was hot frothy milk with a hint of coffee. We had a coffee here about 18 months ago (Easter 2017) and that was fine though.
Lovely friendly staff. Great selection of food. Very beautiful place to visit. You can rent a rowing boat, punt or one man canoe. Lovely lake to have a peaceful row with the family then stop off at the tea room for refreshments. Great place to visit all year round. Beach less than 3mins walk.
